QR Code Generator

Create QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp, phone and email — download as PNG or SVG.

Runs in your browser — your data never leaves your device.

About the QR Code Generator

Create a QR code that opens your website, menu, location link or payment page; lets guests join your Wi-Fi without typing the password; or starts a WhatsApp chat with your business.

These are static QR codes: the information is stored inside the code itself, so they never expire and do not depend on any website — including ours. Download a PNG for screens and social media, or an SVG for sharp printing at any size.

How to use the QR Code Generator

  1. Choose the type: Link / text, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp, Phone or Email.
  2. Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
  3. Optionally change the size, error correction and colours.
  4. Click PNG or SVG to download. Always test-scan the code with your phone before printing.

How it works

The text is encoded with the QR Code Model 2 standard (ISO/IEC 18004) in UTF-8. Error correction adds redundancy so the code still scans if part of it is damaged: Low 7%, Medium 15%, High 25%, Highest 30%.

Wi-Fi codes use the format WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;;. WhatsApp codes open https://wa.me/number.

Examples

  • Restaurant: a QR code on each table linking to the online menu.
  • Shop: a WhatsApp QR code with the message “I want to order” pre-filled, printed on the counter.
  • Office: a Wi-Fi QR code on the reception desk.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes — the information is inside the code, so they work forever and need no account.

Can I change the link after printing?

No. A static QR code cannot be changed. If the link may change, point it to a page on your own website that you can update.

Why is my coloured QR code not scanning?

Scanners need strong contrast. Use a dark colour on a light background and avoid inverting them.
