Random Number Generator
Pick fair random numbers in any range — one or many, with or without repeats.
Runs in your browser — your data never leaves your device.
About the Random Number Generator
Choose a winner for a lucky draw, pick roll numbers, decide turns in a game or create test data. Set the range and how many numbers you need — with No repeats, every number appears at most once.
Numbers come from your browser's cryptographic random generator with unbiased sampling, so every number in the range is equally likely.
How to use the Random Number Generator
- Enter the minimum and maximum (both included).
- Enter how many numbers you need.
- Choose No repeats and Sort if needed, then click Generate. Click again for new numbers.
How it works
Each number = minimum + a random whole number from 0 to (maximum − minimum). Rejection sampling removes the small bias that simple “random % range” methods have. Unique numbers are drawn with a partial Fisher–Yates shuffle.
Examples
- Range 1–500, 1 number → a single winning ticket number.
- Range 1–49, 6 numbers, no repeats, sorted → e.g. 4, 11, 23, 30, 38, 47.
Frequently asked questions
Can the results be predicted?
No. They come from the operating system's secure random source. For official prize draws, also follow your local rules and record the process.
