About the Time Zone Converter

Calling family in the Gulf, joining a meeting in London or watching a match in Australia? Pick a date and time in one place and see the matching local time everywhere else, including the day and how many hours ahead or behind each place is.

Daylight saving time is applied automatically for the date you choose, so the result is correct in summer and winter. Add any city from the full list of world time zones.

How to use the Time Zone Converter

  1. Enter the date and time, and choose the time zone it belongs to (your own is selected first).
  2. Read the local times in the table. Press Now for the current time.
  3. Add more cities from the list, or remove ones you do not need with ✕.

How it works

Times are converted with the IANA time-zone database built into your browser. The chosen local time is turned into UTC using that zone's offset on that date (including daylight saving), then shown in every other zone.

Examples

  • 9:00 am in Pakistan (UTC+5) = 8:00 am in Dubai (UTC+4) and 4:00 am in London in winter (5:00 am during British Summer Time).
  • 8:00 pm in Pakistan = 11:00 am in New York during US daylight time.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pakistan use daylight saving time?

Not currently. Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5 all year. The UK, Europe, USA and parts of Australia change their clocks, which the converter handles automatically.

Is my data sent to your server?
