About the Rotate Image
Fix photos that appear sideways or upside down, or mirror a selfie so text reads correctly. Every click updates the preview, and the final image is saved at full resolution.
How to use the Rotate Image
- Choose or drop an image.
- Click Rotate left, Rotate right, 180°, Flip horizontal or Flip vertical as many times as you need.
- Choose the format to save as and click Download image. Reset goes back to the original.
How it works
Rotating by 90° swaps the width and height (a 4000 × 3000 photo becomes 3000 × 4000). Flipping mirrors the image across its middle. The transformation is applied to the full-size image in your browser when you download.

Why do some photos look sideways only on certain websites?
Phones often save a rotation flag instead of rotating the pixels. Rotating and downloading here bakes the correct orientation into the image itself.
